Meet Dr. Brendan Vastlik
With a patient-centered approach and over a decade of dental experience, Dr. Brendan Vastlik believes the best care comes from listening first. He educates patients on their options and works collaboratively to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
Dr. Vastlik holds a DDS from Marquette University and a dual degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois. He’s completed over 400 hours of continuing education—10x the state requirement—and is certified in implant dentistry, clear aligner therapy, laser dentistry, and endodontics. He is currently pursuing Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction held by fewer than 6% of U.S. dentists.

Meet Dr. John Perna
With over 25 years of experience, Dr. John Perna brings advanced training and a deep commitment to patient care. He earned his dental degree from Northwestern University, completed a residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and pursued specialized training in implant dentistry through the Misch Implant Institute.
Dr. Perna is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry—one of the highest recognitions in the field—and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in implants, periodontal therapy, and endodontics. He’s also the founder of the Northwest Implant Study Group and a member of several leading dental organizations. Outside the office, he enjoys time with family, golfing, biking, and playing piano.
